Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Link Tap, the website, and related checkout and support experiences collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit the site, place an order, submit setup details, sign up for updates, or contact us.

Personal Information

In this policy, personal information means information that can identify, relate to, describe, or reasonably be linked to a person or household. Link Tap collects only the information reasonably needed to operate the site, process orders, prepare products, provide support, and improve the customer experience.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, billing details, order details, business link to program, setup notes, newsletter signup information, support messages, and any other information you choose to submit.

Device and Site Usage Information

When you visit the site, basic technical information may be collected automatically, such as browser type, device type, IP address, approximate location, time zone, pages viewed, products viewed, referring pages, search or navigation activity, and how you interact with the site. This information helps the site load correctly, helps us understand site performance, and helps us improve the shopping experience.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Link Tap does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, fraud-prevention signals, and other information needed to process payments, calculate tax, process shipping details, and support checkout under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

Order and Setup Information

Link Tap products may be programmed with a destination link provided by the customer. We use the business link and setup notes you provide to prepare your NFC card, stand, or bundle. You are responsible for making sure the link and instructions you submit are accurate and appropriate.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to offer products for sale, process orders, collect payment, calculate shipping and tax, program products, ship purchases, send order confirmations, respond to customer support requests, screen for fraud or risk, maintain business records, improve the website, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing Information

We do not sell customer personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the business, including payment processors such as Stripe, shipping carriers, tax tools, website hosting providers, analytics providers if used, email tools, and customer support tools. We may also disclose information to comply with laws, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, enforce policies, or protect rights and safety.

Cookies and Analytics

The website may use cookies, local storage, log files, tags, pixels, or similar technologies to keep cart items from disappearing when the page refreshes, improve performance, remember preferences, understand site usage, and support checkout or future analytics features. You can adjust cookie settings through your browser, but some site features may not work correctly if cookies or local storage are disabled.

Advertising and Marketing

Link Tap may use information you provide, such as a newsletter signup email, to send product updates or offers. If advertising or retargeting tools are added in the future, those tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails when an unsubscribe option is provided.

Automated Decision-Making

Link Tap does not use fully automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on customers. Stripe and other service providers may use limited automated tools to detect fraud, reduce risk, and protect checkout activity.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill orders, provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, comply with tax and legal obligations, and operate the business.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect customer information. No website, payment system, or data transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices

You may contact Link Tap to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal, tax, fraud-prevention, fulfillment, dispute, and business recordkeeping requirements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, the site does not currently change its practices when such a signal is detected.

International Visitors

Link Tap is intended for customers in the United States through the current checkout experience. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or by service providers in other locations.

Children's Privacy

Link Tap is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.

Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can be sent through the Link Tap contact page.
